Experiment with mono

Ok I don't know whether it's strictly mono as it's a stereo sum I guess. but really it's one track either way . So flautando spitfire string which is an inherently less aggressive sound layered with a woodwind ensemble . Practiced well and played freehand so to speak ie no click metronome . It's actually not bad . Drenched in reverb ( I'm wondering if there's a phenomenon here whereby one track can handle more of it without it becoming soup ?) Playback fairly low level . To my ears it sounds kind of old vintage . Really it's not bad at all and that's coming from someone who can't stand virtually anything I do . I'm now going to see how far I can push the idea of a mono track or rather single track of piano. Sometimes forcing yourself to be minimal can help optimise . Hope this helps ?
Note : although I'll likely think it's garbage in a few days . Usually the way
