zbert In the swamps of Jersey Feb 24, 2010 #4 I've used mine all around the kit. It's a very good all purpose drum mic. A bit big to fit on some drums but real good for the floor tom.

M moresound Loud Sun Studios Feb 24, 2010 #5 If the drummer is real careful you could take the wind screen off to get in to the hard to reach drums for recording the whole kit.but I would be afraid of a drum stick hit.
