Event ASP8 or JBL LSR 4328P ?

I'm heavily into recording rap, r&b, this type of music.
Seeing as how these 2 sets of mons are pretty much evenly priced, which would you suggest?
 
I suggest you take some of your favorite albums and compare them at the store.

Normally I would recommend JBL over about anything if it is an 8 inch speaker model. That said, I went for the Events because they were less expensive than the 6328s which I did compare. I have not heard these new JBLs so can't help you there. If they are close to the 6328s in sound I would go with JBL. That said, I never buy before I compare. I am very pleased with the Events by the way. They are extremely accurate and translatable.
