EV RE20 roll-off for kick?

Greetings all,

I've got the use of a RE20 to do some recording of a rock cover band. It will be the best mic I'll have to use on the kick drum. The question I have is, do I want to use the built in high pass, or leave it flat?

Not only that though it has plenty of low extension it does not add the low hype some other kick mics do. (Nor the 'stuck-with-this-one-big-mid-spike sound' which is another one of its charms
 
+2. You can always EQ it in the mix, but you can't put back what you've already filtered out.
