Error when trying to sync audio and midi. In Logic.

Hello,

I running Logic Express with a Motu 828 and an ART DPS. I am trying to use the Spidif out the DPS and according to the owners manual, If I use the Spidif out it has to be run at the 48k sample rate and be the master. So I set it up that way. I can get the Motu 828 to show the 48k sample rate. But when I went in to Motu audio setup I set it to slave to the Spidif input and try to set it to 48000 and it goes right back to 41000.

It records but I keep getting the error code: Error when trying to sync audio and midi.


HELP!!!
 
I went to the upper left hand side of the window. Hit settings. Choose Audio. Then from there I adjusted the sample rate to 48K. Simple. Logical.

Oh well. Hope that helps for any future searches.
