equipment storage

Howdy,

I have to store my stuff for about 2-4 months while I'm in the states.

should there be any problem with:

1. storing my digital recorder (dps 16) in a Pelican (airtight) padded case

2. storing my triton in an SKB

for that amount of time?

Howdy,

The "storage space" is a small room in my landlord's house here in Mexico. The climate here is almost never that warm. I would imagine that the airtight Pelican will keep the recorder dry and the SKB shouldn't be that far behind it. My PS6's will be in their original boxes.

I don't suppose anyone can describe for me what "dessicant" is in plain english (or spanish) so I can get my hands on some!?!?
