Hi
I currently don't have a computer based studio , at least not yet plan to add a computer later on, right now I recently purchased 2 Emu Darwin 8 track recorders. I plan to sync them for a total of 16 tracks.
The two mixers I'm looking to use is a Tascam Digital Tmd 1000 16 track, I really like the roland mixers though I was looking at the vm3100 pro but on the channel faders it only goes up to 12 ? is this enough or can I connect half to my mixer and the others to a line Mixer ?
also if I ever added a third darwin for 24 tracks could I just get another vm3100pro and connect it with the first ?
any advice would be greatful
