I am using a laptop without firewire to record fingerstyle guitar. Two Neumanns into a two channel mic pre. I noticed they claim "two virtual ins", would this card work for two condensors? Are the converters decent? Not many choices without firewire. TIA!!
 
I don't see why it wouldn't work.
As far as I know the Indigo has two physical inputs via an 1/8'' stereo jack and several virtual outputs (internally mixed to the physical output).

You can always use a PCMCIA FireWire adapter to add that functionality.
