ECHO AUDIOFIRE vs RME FIREFACE !!

I LIKE TO UPGRADE MY OLD SOUNDCARD...
AND CONFUSED TO CHOOSE BETWEEN AUDIOFIRE AND FIREFACE ??
ANY RECOMMEND GUYS..PLESE HELP???

The Fireface has more Ins and Outs, more preamps, better preamps and converters (based on nothing but my gut instinct that if anyone beats RME's pres/converters, it won't be Echo), and it's Firewire800.

Basically, you get more with the Fireface, but you also pay more, and it doesn't come with software.

And I can't speak to Echo's support, but RME is really on top of their game.


I own a Fireface, and couldn't be happier.
 
capslock off. i like echo products but given the choice (money aside) i would probably go with the RME unit. both have good reputations but RME is up there when it comes to quality
