Hello, I just installed my e-mu 1820 on my computer and I got it up and running last night. Everything appeared to be running well until mixdown and I tried to pan right. When I pan right, the signal from the channel completely drops out. I am recieving signal in both speaker and headphones, but not when I pan them hard right! I have no clue as to what this could be. Thanks for any input. I appreciate it.

Please don't think I'm assuming you're an idiot . . .

. . . but you've got both phone plugs in, right? If you just have the output plug in a L(mono) jack and you're putting it through a mixer or headphone amp, that would explain it, 'cause the amp/mixer would split the mono signal, but if you pan away from the signal in Cubase you'd have nothing left to split.

Other than that, I have no idea. I use the 1212, it's aces, congratulations on a solid buy. You seem to have penetrated the mysteries of Patchmix much more quickly than I, so you're past the worst part.
