Dreamless [Mostly Acoustic]

This is the second track that I recorded for MySomethingBox, a local talent that reached out to me to record a 10 track EP. We got all of this done in one day and I think it came out well. So far, I don't have any issues with the mix or master but you may find some. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think. The mix sounds good to my ears. Maybe the kick drum could come up a notch, or have a little more attack? Otherwise I can't think of anything to change. There's a tiny bit of fret buzz at 0:10 that's noticeable only because it's so early in the song.

To be honest the song doesn't do much for me, but that's just my taste (or lack thereof). Feels a bit plodding, and the singing is over-emoted. I do like the bass playing though!

For all the volume of it there's not much thud in the kick drum.
The singer sounds like he wants to be over angst ridden as if he's in Nickleback or something similar.
the song sounds like its all walls & no roof.
Your capture & mix is pretty good.
