Has anyone with a DR-670 had any luck with downloading
beat patterns or songs to it using a Software based MIDI
Sequencer?

If you have, what software are you using?

I can upload my songs to several different software sequencers,
but cant seem to figure out how to get new songs composed in
a sequencer back into the DR-670.

When you save something in .MID format you typically have 2 choices. Try the other one you haven't been using and post again if that doesn't work.

And your DR-670 does have the stated capability to play .MID files, right? If not, your problem in a nutshell is that the capabilities of even the most rudimentary software sequencer go way beyond that humble little hardware device.
