DP-24 Slave Sync (DP-32?)

I'm guessing there are no plans to upgrade the DP-24 to restore the MIDI slave sync that was in the 2488. I wonder if the DP-32 will have that very important (to me) function?

I asked the support about it. They told me that there are no plans to integrate a slave mode into the dp24/32:
"If you need it look for a Neo".

Thanks for checking. I used a 2488 for years but lost it in the 2011 floods. Guess my backup will be to find an audio interface that supports more than 2 analog outputs. Anybody have experience with the Scarlett 8i6? And does it really have 6 analog outputs? I was tricked into buying a Fast Track with 4 outputs, only to find out that channels 3&4 were digital only. - Bill

Did my homework. The Scarlett 8i6 has only 4 analog outputs, not 6. But the good news is, that's all I need. And additionally, it seems that the Cakewalk people recommend the 8i6 as most compatible with Sonar X1.
