Just got a DP-008. I got the lame demo track to work - could hear. Can not hear recorded song on playback. I know about the volume wheel on the back. Also know about the master vol. Using earbuds in phones jack.
Not sure what I was doing before but I got it to work now. Wow!!!!!!! I got the last one for $149. These are a steal. Will be back with more dumb questions.
I had the exact same issue with mine when I first got it. I found the headphone jack to have a strange feel. I thought the plug was fully plugged in but it wasn't. Just be sure it REALLY IS fully seated and I think you'll be fine. The DP-008 is a super little machine. I'm exceptionally happy with mine!!
