does anyone know this mic?

nope, i know nothing.

however, they look really cool. if they go for cheap i would get them, test them out and if they dont sound very good sell them on american ebay and collect some big $$$.

or sell one to me. i would take one for $40+ shipping without hearing it as long as it worked.

I was in a studio here in Tampa in the early/mid 80's and saw these being used on a set of toms. They certainly seemed to be OK soundwise. The session was for the lead singer of a 60's vocal group - can't think of his name right now. I think it's the guy that sang Cherry Baby?

Getting old can't remember anymore.
 
Finally remembered:

Frankie Valli from the 4 Seasons vocal group.

All I can remember was I had fun during the session.
