Sonar: No. But there are DAW programs for Linux. (Ardour, Rosegarden, MusE)

Your interface: Depends. What interface?

If you like Sonar, and you like the MIDI options it offers then stick with it.
I switched from ARCH linux to Windows just because you have to use a combination of software to get the features of Sonar.
Take a look at JACK, this will probably be what you will be using for your routing.
For everything else Linux rules!
