Do I get a free upgrade to Leopard?

So to cut a long story short I have just bought new old stock of a Powermac G5 Quad 2.5... Obviously it's gonna come with Tiger on it (arrives tomorrow).

I'm just wondering seeing as I purchased it brand new the other day, from a reseller - i.e. it's never been opened or registered - would I qualify for a free upgrade to Leopard?

For example I know that if you were to buy a Pro Tools interface now, which contains a previous version of the software, you'd get a free upgrade to the latest version.

Sorry, but no. The Leopard up-to-date program only applies to a select range of models that were in production when Leopard came out. The G5 hasn't been manufactured in almost three years (since August of 2006).

Ah well, was worth a shot.

Time to buy another License!
