I'm mostly a mix of European, closest relatives being English, irish and german.

I've been thinking about one of those kits, too.

As best as I can tell, one side is German and Welsh, the other side is German and Scot.

Texas isn't like that. That's more Kentucky, West Virginia, etc. Appalachian states.

Hey, I'll be the first to admit that the only difference between Indiana and Kentucky is which side of the river you're on. That and that whole idiotic 'dry counties' thing.

My grandfather always said that he was born on a houseboat in the middle of the Ohio between Indiana and Kentucky and that neither state claimed him.
