is there software out there that can successfully disect any song for it to become an acapella version, instrumental version, and acoustic version, and to make it so you can take words out, and mix two songs together, increase bass, add sounds.i heard a dj on the radio one day mix 3 songs into one which sounded unbelievably different i know thats what he did because at the end of it thats what he said he did.
he used total eclipse of the heart,he had bonie tyler singing it but the beat behind it was the one nikki french used to remake the song, plus i think an instrumental was inserted in there somewere.could someone please tell me what software program you would need to achieve this plus how would you do it
any help would be appreciated
thanks

The answer is no.

There are some programs that can reduce/remove vocals, but... vocals cannot be removed/reduced from every song.

You can remove vocals or music by EQ'ING THE HELL out of the sampled piece.

The dj probably had acapellas of the songs you heard or they were remixes.

I don't know if you dj, but you can ADD and REMOVE bass frequencies with the eq on your dj mixer (it's called PUMPING THE EQ).

Plus, you must understand that a lot of radio dj's get promo copies of records. Usually, the promo copies have different versions of the record and most have acapella/instrumental versions of the song.

That is why if you went to Paris or London, the record stores over there would KILL to have the versions that American djs have (acapellas and instrumentals).

In terms of making an edited mix CD or TAPE, you could use any multitracking program (for my mixes I use Cakewalk 9.03).

If you would like further information, post back.

peace out...
