Hello,
Can somebody help me a 'lil with this one..!!

1. Where's the place that I should place a DITHER for the best result......, is it in the TRACK as Inserts or in the BUS as the final output ....??
2. Is it useless to dither to & from the same bits..??
3. Is there any important info about DITHERING which forgotten by people to covers...what it would be...!??
4. How big is the important role of DITHER-ing for you guys (who's participate in this topics)...?!!

Thanks guys

First, you don't dither an insert or an output - you dither what you've already recorded digitally.

Second, I think "dithering to and from the same bits" is probably a big waste of time, yeah.

Third, dithering is really important for me when I want to burn a CD. I record in 24-bit or 32-bit, but if I want to burn this to a CD, I have to dither down to 16-bit, because CDs are 16-bit. With computer mixing, the software does this for me.

Finally, to get a good answer, you have to ask a clear question. Try this question, and see what happens: "What's dithering, and what do I need to know about it?"
