I can get a new FW410 for 333 EUR and used RME for 220 (or new for 380 EUR, in this case including BOB1). Actually at the time I only need stability and ADAT and SPDIF. But in the near future I would also buy a mic preamp. FW has 2 preamps but I don't know how good they are compared for example to RME Quadmic or DMP3. The second thing is; I have a new PC and an old laptop, which doesn't have firewire port. (is there maybe a converter between usb2 and firewire?)
