Digital Format Conversion

Does anyone know anything that will take an AES signal and convert it to ADAT? For example, w/ Mytek convertors you have to get a card for $500 to get the ADAT option. I'm looking for something cheaper/more versatile but that won't color/degrade the sound.

Have you checked out a Mutek MultiChannle "AA" Converter?

The "AA" version comes equipped with AES/EBU & ADAT interfaces
while the "TA" version has TDIF & AES/EBU for Tascam's DTRS.

Yep... there's no "cheap" solution.... the Mutec is probably the most cost-effective.
