Digirack002 vs MOTU 828mkII

I'm wondering the quality difference with the converters, and also the difference in the preamps (MOTU has 2, DIGI has 4).

My decision will be either to go with the Digi with Protools LE, or to go with the MOTU with Sonar 3.

Has anybody used both that can offer up opinions?

I personally like MOTU a lot better than DIGI 001, 002. Quality wise they both are the same. Of course they recommend each other for expansion. IF you are comfortable with Sonar...go with the MOTU. They both go along so well. If you are using a mac Motu's original software Digital Performer goes along so well with it, much more user friedly than pro tools. The good thing about Digital Performer is that you can import DP files into pro tools any time you plan to switch.
I use my Motu in both PC (Sonar XL) and MAC (DP3) They both work fine. Very reliable hardware, good converters and very satisfactory. Why do you want to get a LE version in Protools, while you can get a more powerful setup for the same price? Thats the way I think of it. Good Luck!

I would go with 002, too many reasons why, ive used both and nothing has worked better than PTLE so far.
