digi 002 question

this may be a dumb question and is why i choose the newbie section to post.

can i use guitar cords to make the connection from external pre-amps to the digi 002's line inputs 5-8? or does it have to be a certain type of cable that is different then a guitar cable?

You can, and if there's no noise picked up then you're okay, but the technically correct cable would be a balanced line cable. It will use essentially the same cable as as a mic cable but have TRS ends that look like stereo headphone plugs.

ah ok thanks man. i'll go with the balanced cables don't want any unnecessary noise in my recordings thanks for the info.
