different versions of audiobuddy?

i'm planning on getting one of these mainly as a cheap means of having phantom power, and i've noticed that there are two different types of casing, one that looks more metallic and streamlined (the one at the midiman website) and one that's greyer and has a sort of whimsical font (the one at musician's friend). i was going to get the latter from ebay, and just wanted to make sure that there is no functional or audible difference between the two. thanks.

The company overhauled the cosmetics last year and a lot of places still have the old photos displayed.Whoever you buy from,it will be the same (newer) unit.

It's the M-Audio one that is the new look.
