I want to be able to record a possible keeper amp track together with a DI track in case I choose to reamp later.
I have an old passive DI box that does work for this, but the thru signal to the amp is noticably degraded.
When I read descriptions of DI boxes, they all claim to deliver a pristine signal to the console, but what about preserving the original to the amp?
Would a good active DI box like Radial J48 help?
