depopping in Cubase....is it possible

I have some nasty clipping on the snare drum of some tracks I created awhile ago. I was reading into depopping tools and wonder if any plugins were available to do this in Cubase SL.

You're best option would be to re-record it. How could the part that was clipped possibly be recreated synthetically?

Cubase SL doesnt contain any depopping or clicking effects. The effect you need is called declicker and is a vst effect which comes bundled with Wavelab 4. I think you can also get it via the Steinberg Clean software but im not sure if its available on its own.
