Delta 44 Breakout Box connecting to SB Live?

I have the option to purchase a Delta 44 breakout box and connecting cable for $30, and am wondering if I can connect it to something without the Delta 44 soundcard. Would it connect to the input on a SB Live card? Or is there some other generic soundcard I could get that would work? I also have a MOTU 324 card for the 2408 MKII interface, but as far as I know they would not be compatible. Any suggestions?

No, you can't; it's a proprietary interface; works only with the Delta 66 or Delta 44. It makes no sense to buy a Delta breakout box by itself and whoever is selling it is probably trying to rip you off.
