Delta 1010 fuzzy recording??

i recently purchased the delta 1010 and once i got it all hooked up the recordings were very scratchy and clicky. I rember someone having the same problem a while back and posted it on here so i figured i would do the same. i am running windows xp profesional if that helps specify the problem at all. anyway thanks for the help.
 
If you're having a problem with pops and/or clicks, then chances are you need to mess with your buffer size settings. Go to the Delta 1010 control pannel, and where it says "DMA Buffer size," re-set that to a higher value; start somewhere around 700, and keep going higher untill the clicking issue is resolved.

As for for the fuzzy issue, that porbably has more to do with another part of your signal chain, and isn't likely an issue with the sound card. Make sure you're leaving yourself some headroom -- digital clipping isn't a pretty sound.
