Deep thoughts, questions and answers with Chatgtp

Which God? I have a couple of thousand to choose from. Could you be more specific.
I recommend door #3 but don't blame me if it turns out a bad choice. Based upon 10's of 1000's of hours of deep thinking, staring into the cosmos asking for the answer, I've come to believe, I'm pretty sure, I'm seriously hoping it's door #3 🤯

I still want to know what Popeys rank was? Links please.
It appears that this is similar to asking where God came from...a divine mystery You just gotta have faith man...faith

Olive Oil did say he was strong to the finish if that helps :laughings:

what rank was Popeye in the navy?

Popeye, the fictional cartoon character created by E.C. Segar, is often associated with the United States Navy, but his specific rank has not been consistently portrayed in the various adaptations and cartoons over the years. In the original comic strips and many of the cartoons, Popeye is typically portrayed as a low-ranking sailor, often referred to as a "seaman" or "sailor." His uniform includes the typical attire of a sailor, such as a sailor hat and a uniform with the letter "U.S.N." (United States Navy) on it. However, he is not usually depicted with a specific naval rank such as "Petty Officer" or "Captain."
So, while Popeye is closely associated with the U.S. Navy, he doesn't have a specific rank that is consistently portrayed in the character's various appearances. The character's focus is more on his superhuman strength, his love of spinach, and his adventures rather than his naval rank.

I only have faith in me. I has been proven time and again I am the only one who has my best interests at heart. Faith is like respect, it has to be earned.

We come into this world by ourselves, no choice in the matter bigger than shit here we are. We also go out by ourselves...All of us on the great migration from beginning to end. Only you can know what it is like to feel the pain, anguish, love and happiness that you feel...We have no control over getting plopped here to exist but we do have control of when we exit...We can end it quickly or we can let it play out as fate will have it...but it's a choice to live and love another day. Or not. Faith in yourself?

So the GTP answers what is faith?

Faith is a complex and multifaceted concept that can have different meanings and interpretations depending on cultural, religious, philosophical, and personal perspectives. Generally, faith can be defined as:
  1. Belief or Trust: Faith often involves believing in something or someone without concrete evidence or proof. It's about having confidence or trust in the truth, reliability, or existence of something, even in the absence of empirical evidence.
  2. Religious Faith: In a religious context, faith typically refers to a deep-seated belief in a higher power, deity, or spiritual principles. It involves trust and devotion to religious teachings, scriptures, and traditions. Religious faith can guide one's moral values, behaviors, and provide a sense of purpose and meaning in life.
  3. Faith in People: Faith can extend to trust in the character, intentions, or abilities of individuals. It can be faith in a friend, family member, leader, or even faith in oneself. This form of faith is often based on personal experience and observation.
  4. Confidence in the Future: Faith can also refer to having confidence in a positive outcome or the belief that things will improve, even in difficult or uncertain circumstances. This type of faith can be a source of hope and resilience.
  5. Philosophical Faith: Some philosophical perspectives discuss faith as a fundamental aspect of human existence. Existentialist philosophers, for instance, explore the idea of faith as a commitment to values and beliefs in an inherently uncertain and ambiguous world.
  6. Spiritual or Inner Faith: Faith is sometimes seen as an inner quality that goes beyond religious affiliations. It can represent a deep sense of trust in the universe, a spiritual journey, or one's inner self.
It's important to note that faith is a subjective concept, and its nature and significance can vary widely among individuals and cultures. Some people may place a strong emphasis on faith as a guiding force in their lives, while others may prioritize empirical evidence and skepticism. Regardless of one's perspective, faith often plays a significant role in shaping beliefs, values, and behaviors.

Stonewalling eh?
No. I know who I'm talking about.
But you could say I'm wallstoning.
I only have faith in me
Yeah, we can see that from all the videos you post on Prime Time ! :geek:
I has been proven time and again I am the only one who has my best interests at heart
You know your life so I can't comment in a way that is going to seem anything other than wholly arrogant.
But I disagree. 😄
Faith is like respect, it has to be earned
The biblical concept of faith is essentially trust. And I agree with you, it needs to be earned, most of the time. God has earned my trust. You clearly feel differently and you are entitled to.
However, I'm going to slightly disagree with you that faith is like respect in the sense that it has to be earned. Respect is something that one should give, whether earned or not, until one has reason not to respect. So for example, my default position with a president or a prime minister or a boss or my wife or a bus driver or someone working on the till at a shop or a child in the school I work in or anyone that I come across is that they have my respect. They don't need to earn it before I give it.
But once I have given it, you sure as shit stinks need to earn it for me to keep that respect going. I'm not so harsh that it's one strike and you're out.
The cool thing is that even if I should stop respecting you, the story is not over. It's not a fixed deal. If we can work out whatever has stopped me respecting you, that breakdown can be repaired, the respect can be restored.
Or not.

I can't bring myself to believe in talking snakes and virgin births for starters. I quit believing in Santa long ago. Whatever gets you through the night.

I can't bring myself to believe in talking snakes and virgin births for starters
Nor could I. That's why I was atheist for so many moons.
Fortunately, I didn't have to bring myself to believe anything.
I quit believing in Santa long ago
I quit the Santa train when I noticed that every Santa looked different...and I saw my Dad laying out the presents one night {that would be Christmas eve !}. His excuse, when confronted the next day {that would be Christmas day}, was that he was only helping Santa, who was a busy man. But I was an observant 4-year-old, although I didn't realize until just now.
Whatever gets you through the night.
Viagra ? Prilogy ? YouTube ? DVD boxsets ? Valium ? Burglary ? Shooting foxes that squeal all night ? Sherry........

It is interesting though, that these two specific events are recorded as only ever happening once, throughout the entirety of human history, both are very contextual and specific and are clearly indicative of something unusual and noteworthy, something that is supposed to be taken notice of and their ramifications ruminated upon.
Food for thought.

Hey, Dogooder !
You should maybe think about naming one of your albums "Red, Oo ! God !!"

See, Chat GPT ain't got nothing on we hoomans....

I only sleep four hours a night so I don't need much to get me through it.
