deep bass plugin

Since this is my first post I want to say hello to all of ya.

I am not into rap and the whole really deep bass thing but I am putting together a little rap demo for this kid i owe a favor to. I want the tracks to have that deep "rap" style bass to it. I used to have a vst effect that was called Mda SUBSYNTH that would have done the job nicely but the program I am using at the moment doesn't support the vst effects,i use magix music studio 7 by the way. What I was wondering is if there is a direct x plugin that would to the same thing. Any tips would be greatly appreciated,thanks.
 
The Waves bundle has a very nice plug in called MaxxBass... I use Pro Tools... (rtas) I'm not sure if they have it for directX . possibly. The Waves Gold bundle is awesome but a price tag that's a little steep... (apx.. $1000)
 
thanks for all of the replies but I bougt the vst to dx wrapper pro so I could use the vst I already had. The thing about the compression sounds interesting though and I am going to try that just to see what it sounds like.thanks guys
