Gidday folks, have been using a set of passive Alesis MK2s through an old NAD amplifier for monitoring, whilst the sound is pretty good it always has a serious amount of bass which aint a bad thing but i always end up overcompensating and when i listen back on other systems it seems bass light and basically a bit crap.
Was planning to get a set of active's with a good mid freq&less overpowering bass to run from my soundcard so i can use the two sets and get a better picture of what i'm hearing. A few people have recommended Tannoy Reveals but was wondering if theres any others out there that are better
