I've just done my first Decca Tree recording. It's a technique mostly ignored by home recordists and people on budgets, so it features heavily in big orchestral and choral recordings in the big studios, but hardly ever even talked about by people at home - I've always ignored it because the practical snags got in the way, but I'm now kicking myself for not trying harder, years ago!
