Ddrums Punx?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has tried the new kit from ddrums, punx. I saw them in Musicians Friend and have leeking for something that's hard-hitting.

What do you mean by hard hitting?

Drums are drums. As long as the hard ware is decent. Would I suggest this set? No, but that's just because I think they are really ugly looking, and I don't like the sizes. offered in this setup.

If you don't know how to tune them and play them, then you could make a $10,000 drumkit sound like crap.

I just looked. It will sound dark. Mahogany shells will do that. The sizes are just stupid. 12,15, 16? A 3 inch gap between the high tom and middle tom and a 1 inch gap between the middle and low tom....Brilliant! The PVC wrapps will kill the tone as well.
