I'd probably get something else like some M-Audio BX5's actives used or some Wharf passive 8.2 or YSM1i.
No I never heard them, then again you never know....they can't be any worse than the "old 1970's Professional Nearfield standard, the HiFi Yamaha NS10's.
Alot of vintage and classic sellers mixed on those 2-way, passive HiFi yammie speakers.
Don't you want to hear your speakers before buying?

I've never tried those speakers but I've often thought about spending the money just to build them. They can't be that bad.

The Dayton Audio Cables are fine. I use quite a few of them. Parts express is 15 minutes from my house. It's a great part shop
