DAW vocal isolation booth (moving to city)

Paco

Hi all,
I'm moving from the suburbs to downtown Philly, and am trying to figure out a good way to keep the outside noise OUT! Has anybody designed/built any good isolation booths that work with keyboard/mouse/monitor? Most of the websites I found are for people in a studio where they don''t have to do the queueing themselves.

I figure I could get wireless keyboard/mouse, and a rotation stand for the monitor or something.

I was thinking maybe using a screen door from home depot for the plexiglass ... I dunno...

any tips?

Thanks!

I live in Seattle on a fairly busy street, so I bought a vocal iso booth from www.soundsuckers.com - it's been working out really well. I have a remote for my recorder in there so that I can punch in/out etc. without leaving the booth. I also keep a 1x12 guitar cab mic'd up in there at all times so that I can crank the amps up.
