Hi everyone,
I just picked up a TD9 kit and I am a bit perplexed about something.
IF I only want to use the TD9's sound banks to record drum tracks in Logic 9, can't I just use the Mono line out jack directly to my m-audio fast track guitar line in? Then use the m audio's headphone jack for monitoring?
People have told me I need a Midi box and cable's and have to use the TD9's midi in and out.
If i'm not using Superior drummer or ezdrummer for the VST's then why use Midi?
I will not be able to create individual tracks for kick/snare/toms/cymbals i get that. But I can control the drum mix from the td9. (Volume/mix/Eq) then lay down the drums all in one track.
That should work just fine right?
Thanks!
