I'm not sure if this should be posted here but the questions i have do relate to Alesis itself.
Next week i'm going to purchase an alesis DM-10 studio electronic drum set here.

Does anybody here have any knowledge of this or played on it??
My main question is the configuration i will have to use. I have an acoustic kit and i run my mics into an Alesis io-26 firewire. It has 2 firewire ports and midi in and out. Now the DM-10 kit uses USB or MIDI....no firewire. I know almost nothing about MIDI. I guess i just go from the midi out on the DM-10 to the midi in on the IO-26 and sonar will see it, or do i use the usb(will both work in sonar at the same time).
Another question is, is it possible for sonar to act as a "module", does such a plugin exist??
The dm-10 has something like a few hundred voices and 100 slots for me to create my own sounds but i'm just curious if this can be done.
