When I purchased the Korg M1 back in 89? it only had a small amount of storage for sequences and I purchased something from alesis called a data disk. I didn't have a PC and it was cheaper to buy this gizmo and sequencers were really still in their infancy. It was necessary to save "songs" to this disk in what format I have no idea and although I still have a few of my early efforts on floppies I have never been able to load them into a PC. They can't be read. I sold the data disk as soon as I got a PC and never bothered to use the M1 sequencer again although it does have a few good features. I was thrilled by the luxury of having half a gig of space to record. Does any one out remember what format the Data Disk used. appreciate any info thanks
