Danny Cary's New Drums

I believe they are just a replacement for his aging Simmons pads, meaning he will still be using the same sounds. You know you're a particular drummer when you choose to make your own pads because nothing else does what you need.

He made his own drum pads?? Damn... I knew he was picky and stuff, and quite anal about details, but still...

i read abotu one of his recent tours he had his drumset shells made by paiste.....

im more of a jazz/fusion guy, but i absolutely love the way danny plays, he's nothing short of amazing.....
 
are you saying that his drums are made of cymbal alloys???? like, you mean his primary drums right? not some speacialty drums he has around his wooden shell drums? or are you talking about his electronic pads? i didn;t think there was a such thing.
 
Yep, his primary drums are made from cymbals. This kit replaces his bubinga Sonor kit.
