Hi there,
I am considering purchasing 2x D80, to give me a 16 x 16 in/out unit as a backup in case I had a problem with my d2424, when I was out at a gig.
I have searched this forum and found many people ask the Hard Drive upgrade question... From my understanding of the posts, it is possible to get an upgrade to the eprom to allow you to add upto a 40+ gb drive. Which is great, but, has anyone actually done it...
My other question, which I can find no reference to is, regarding features... Does it have a chain play option, like the D2424, also I use about 10 tracks per song, which means i will have to chain the 2 units, however, can anyone confirm how many actual songs use can store on the unit, is this simply down to the hard drive or a limitation of the unit ?
Finally, anyone else recommend an alternative product that I can pick up second hand to use as a backup? Do you have an old one to sell ?
