Hi All,

I am a complete newbie at recording etc but do have a slight understanding of recording and am pretty good with all instruments.

I have the following equipment passed down from a friend for free...

M-Audio Audio buddy dual Mic/Jack input
M-audio delta 1010

I am now looking for a decent programme to record a full band but am not sure which one to go for. As I am using a PC i thought I would go for Cubase but don't have the spare money for the latest version.

Would any of you guys have anything to recommend as in which version to use or even a different programme that will give really good results.

You could start with Cubase Essential 6. I think it's only like $150. Reaper will be your least expensive route.
