Cubase OK with SB LIVE card?

Im saving up for a sw1000XG sound card but need to get a sound card now as my card I have now is realy bad!
Im looking at the SB Live card but need to know if there are any known problems with cubase VST 32.
Here is my computer spec?
PII 333 6.4 GIG HD
192 MEG
MATROX G200
YAMAHA 426 RECORDER.
Using Windows ME.
Im using the joystic port at the momemt does this cause
any latency problems?
Whats the diference between the The SB Live 5.1
and the SB Live Platnium other than the live drive?
