Hi, i just managed to revive my alesis multimix16 firewire after searching 2 months for a replacement adapter. i've put it through cubase again, and while the audio seems to be fine when recording, the track being recorded decides to stop after a minute or so....it's very temperamental, sometimes it cuts out after 5 seconds if it decides to.
All the locators and right/left punch outs have been deactivated, changing the automation type doesn't help, and I've tried to up my buffer settings on my alesis control panel. I'm convinced that it's cubase that's goofing up and I can't think of anything to do, whether it's a simple thing i have to turn off or anything i have to change vst-wise.
Windows XP service pack 3 if that makes any difference. sorry if this thread has already been made and answered, i've been searching all over google for an hour now and can't find an answer anywhere..
