Cubase Sx 1 question

I recorded almost a whole song in cubase sx 1, and somewhere along the line
I must have changed a setting or something that causes the audio to record
delayed. When I open my other projects, the audio records on time, it's just this one project. I can't figure it out. It monitors on time, but when I play it back it plays a half second late.
 
Are you sure it's not a latency problem?

It could also be that your system cannot really keep up with the project and it's keeping behind.
 
I guess thats possibe, but there isn't latency in other vubase projects I have.
That particular project is using a lot of vst plug ins, but I have a 3.2 gig processor and 512 mb ram. I'll try to remove all the effects and see if that works.
 
The ram could be your problem. I also have 512mb ram and I have had lagging in the system with big projects aswell.
