Cubase SE3: Side-chain processing??

Hey Everyone,

I currently use Cubase SE3 for recording and mixing. I was wondering if this version is capable of side-chain processing? I would like to use a compressor with a side-chain input, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do this yet. Does anyone know how to do this or if it is possible in Cubase SE3?

Thanks!

I am not sure if that functionality was introduced back then. If there isn't a 'side chain' activation button on the GUI for the compressor, then I would say no. :(

I am not sure if there is another way to achieve this. Maybe someone else will have an idea. I haven't had my coffee yet....

I used to use SE3 and I don't remember ever seeing that function. But I rarely ever used the stock plugs.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using the ReaPlugs compressor plugin which has a detector input selection, but I haven't been able to figure out how to route another track to that detector input yet.
