Cubase: Pitch Correct Not Correcting

Hey everyone, I hope someone can help me out with this. I have Cubase 5, and I want to control the pitch of the singing with my Korg Nano Keyboard. I set everything up correctly as far as I know, but instead of tuning the speech while playing the keys, it does a weird distorted sound while I play.

Does anyone know if this is a bug for Steinberg's pitch correction or maybe a setting I am missing?

P.s.

When I put the Pitch Correction onto any file, it doesn't do anything. No matter what setting I have. It shows the colours and things moving by, but it's as if it is just playing normally.
