I use Cubase3.7 and have no problem using the cs2x to record midi. I´d like to take advantage of the quantisizing in Cubase to then record analog sounds from the Yamaha synth but nothing happens... I´m using standard din plugs to the sound card ( a SB Live). Anyone out there who can help? The Yamaha manual is shit and I understand pretty well about midi hookups, although I´ve been relativly retired from the electronic music scene I was there at the start and had a good understanding of midi ( 5 synths and 2 rythm units working in perfect harmony) on a Commodore c 64.
