Actually, I wouldn't cry if my Ozark went that way. Even though I've had it since September 1990 and it has accompanied me on thousands of plays and recordings. In 1996, it fell and the neck broke and the repair guy said it was beyond repair. But I said do what you can. When I got it back, I found I could bend the neck as I played, which was great as I was never good at bending strings on an acoustic.
I think I'm due a new 6 string to get me through the next 30 years {if I live that long and my hands can stand it}.
