I'm less interested in the comments on the mix than I am about the song in general... I'ts an old one... just wondering if y'all think it's worth spending the time re-recording. Thanks in advance.
 
Im not a punk fan, so i dont feel i should comment on the song :o If you have nothing else to do, why not? Unless its going to cost you thousands in the studio.. What can you lose? :)
 
Haha well it isn't a question of money so much as Time...
It won't cost me any money,
But will cost many hours or drum programming
As I no longer have access to a drum set...

your heart is in the right place, i'll think if you go back and listen you'll notice that most of the people you're trying to immitate are at least a little more subttle in the lyrics, not so preachey.

Dead Kennedys are ok... I like them...
Though I take more of my influence from D.R.I. and the Misfits (in general)
I wouldn't necessarily say I'm trying to imitate anyone but I do see your point. Thanks for the thoughts guys.
 
Are the vocals outa time?, (sorry). The Song is ok, Just dosent have the speed or something as the orginal. Whats your set up?

I think the vocals get outta time towards the end...
Remember I just learned that song right before recording it.
It's faster than the original (slightly) so that isn't it.
Maybe it's the fact that I'm not Glenn Danzig? :D

The guitars were straight Amplitube...
Vocals were MXL 901 into Behri. MX81002 ---> Delta 44.

I had fun doing this. It's the first cover I've ever learned.
I usually lost interest in learning other peoples songs after the intro. :D

The Misfits rock!. Im pretty much the same, i write alot more then i ever really learn these days. I'd only learn new stuff if my band is doing a cover or something.
